Dr. Maisonobe Fokwa

Dr. Maisonobe Fokwa currently serves as Privacy Engineering Manager at a Fortune 10 company where he is responsible for the development and implementation of scalable privacy focused processes and mechanisms, working across business groups to drive data privay excellence across the security and privacy continuum. Before joining the private sector, Dr. Fokwa served in various privacy and information security capacities in at the Department of Homeland Security and the Food and Drug Administration.

Dr. Fokwa has a Doctor of Science in Cybersecurity from Capitol Technology University, an Executive Cybersecurity Certification from Harvard University and two other graduate degrees in Information Technology and Cybersecurity. He currently serves as Executive chapter co-founder of Cyversity, Washington DC chapter. He has a passion for privacy-by-design, cyberwarfare, and the impact of emerging technologies on civil liberties.

In his spare time, Dr. Fokwa enjoys domestic and international travels, wine tasting events and discovering new recipe.
